New filter range SATA filter 100 prep – Perfect air quality in the preparation area
With a reasonably priced compressed air filter that is especially designed for the requirements of primers and fillers, the bodyshop can now guarantee the optimum performance of the primer material in unison with the application equipment, thus ensuring a perfect surface for the top coat to follow.
Quality from the start
Air purity enjoys top priority with the preparation materials since pure air avoids paint flaws caused by compressor oils, silicone, particles, smallest amounts of water and other harmful substances.
Correct compressed air purification guarantees high quality standards, consequently avoiding expensive and time consuming rework. Thus, the compressed air filter directly influences the profitability of the bodyshop – purchasing costs and the low maintenance required produce pay back within a very short period of time.
SATA filter 100 prep
With the new compressed air filter SATA filter 100 prep, the German paint spray equipment manufacturer provides the ideal solution for body shops currently using less than effective compressed air purification systems in their preparation areas.
Reasonably priced
The double-stage combi fine filter features an attractive price performance ratio. It is especially designed for the installation in areas outside the spray booth where it will not be subject to high bake temperatures, thus providing a cost effective solution to a high quality standard.
Air flow, filtering capacity and air volume are adjusted to the requirements of the preparation work place. Thanks to the air flow of more than 800 NL/min, it also provides sufficient capacity for the use of several primer spray guns simultaneously.
The first filtering stage is equipped with cyclone separator, sintered bronze filter and automatic condensate discharge valve and removes particulate down to a size of 5 micron. The second stage micro fibre fine filter cartridge separates particulate with a filtration level of 0.1 micron.
Practice-oriented details
To meet regular maintenance intervals, the SATA filter 100 prep is supplied with a special filter service label reminding the user to exchange the filter cartridge in due time. The sintered bronze cartridge of the first filtering stage can be cleaned and reused at any time provided the filter is regularly maintained. For the second filtering stage, we do recommend to exchange the cartridge after 6 months at the latest.
The outlet pressure can be exactly adjusted by the integrated pressure regulator with gauge and Teflon ball valve. The standard wall mounting kit allows quick and easy mounting of the device.
Increasing quality and customer satisfaction
Numerous tests in bodyshops of different structure and size proved that small investments can achieve substantial quality improvements. Reducing the number of reworks in the preparation area noticeably resulted in a decrease in lead times. This ensures that the customer is not inconvenienced by his car being returned late.
