SATAjet 1000 K spray guns are available in two overspray reduced and VOC-compliant versions both as HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) and RP (Reduced Pressure = reduced atomisation pressure). Efficiency and material transfer rate provide a quick amortization of the purchase coasts of this spray gun model. Further product features– in addition to the material savings of up to 30 % - the significant reduction in overspray extends the lifetime of the booth exhaust filters by almost 50%. Furthermore, the spray gun provides less solvent emissions. The use of this new spray gun generation features real saving potentials to the paint shops and at the same time it contributes to a clean environment.
SATA has substantial knowledge when it comes to achieving high material transfer rates and thus to paint material savings. In comparative testings, SATA HVLP and SATA RP spray guns have achieved remarkable transfer rates.
During development of the SATAjet 1000 K, compact construction, low weight, ergonomic design, high operational safety, low servicing efforts, easy handling and optimum spray pattern quality have been put into focus.
The gun body design, perfectly adapted to the shape of the human hand, in conjunction with low triggering forces, allows optimum handling and fatigue-free work even during long-term industrial use. For perfect and rapid adjustment of the fan geometry, the fan control – as a single-hand control element – has been mounted laterally on the gun body.
The newly conceived nozzle systems insure top class painting results, thanks to their fine atomization and even material distribution. A large fan with rapid wetting ability and high work speed is very advantageous especially with large objects.
According to individual requirements and application case, a large range of wear-resistant nozzle sets is available, both as green HVLP version ("Super Saver") and blue RP version ("Super Speed"). To easily and safely differentiate between the "green" and "blue" atomization technology, the SATAjet 1000 K paint nozzles, for the very first time, are marked with the respective color, along with the previously known colored air cap rings.
Both series types are appropriate for the application of waterborne materials – this is assured by a high-gloss nickel plated gun body surface, in combination with stainless steel paint nozzles and needles as well as corrosion-resistant stainless steel material passages.
In order to obtain the extensive life times required in heavy-duty industrial use and to persist in everyday work, the jet 1000 K models are equipped, among other features, with self-adjusting air and material packings as well as an entirely new fluid nozzle packing, reliably preventing material residues from entering the fluid nozzle thread.
The precise adjustment and control of the dynamic inlet pressure is insured by the addition of the add-on pressure measuring device SATA adam with digital reading. Highest possible safety and repeatable results considerably reduce the redo rate. During permanent industrial use, the proven digital versions have shown themselves as absolutely solvent- and impact-resistant, shatter-proof and suitable for being cleaned in gun washing machines.
The vast range of accessories is completed by further useful elements, such as e.g. a paint feeder pipe, a material filter, material quick coupling and the adam (Additional Digital Air Micrometer).
