SATA at the SEMA Show 2009 in Las Vegas

Meeting the Stars!

The SEMA Show in Las Vegas is probably the most important trade show worldwide for car accessories and tuning parts.  Apart from innovative products, also an extensive range of "hot rods" are on display at the large exhibition ground.

This year, more than 100,000 professionals from over 100 countries came to take a glimpse at latest product developments and to experience the almost boundless opportunities this industry has to offer.

Besides interesting products and the opportunity to get comprehensively informed, many visitors were attracted to the SATA booth again by a varied entertainment program.

During the trade show, the popular artbrush artist Leah Gall, owner of Finishline Design, Inc., practically demonstrated the many different ways of creative Custom Painting.

Leah Gall fully relies on SATA equipment. In her demonstrations, she showed what you can do with airbrush guns of the SATAgraph series and the SATAjet 20 B if a real professional uses them.

More artwork by Lea Gall can be found at www.finishlineinc.com.

Another eye catcher was the SATAjet Bike. This bike has been created by Kris Krome, a popular designer in the US Biker scene, and features some SATA "Original Parts" such as SATAjet 3000 spray gun bodies turned into footrests and the housing lid of a SATA vario top spray.

Equally impressive were the valuable designer cars with their immense horse power under the hoods which could be admired on the SATA booth. These hot rods created by the Star of the US Custom Scene, Chip Foose, are fascinating the audience time and time again. To give these masterpieces their final touch and sheen, the master counts on top quality from Germany. He has demonstrated his close relationship with SATA and his appreciation for SATA paint spray guns with an extended autograph session on the SATA booth for many years now. Many fans waited for several hours to get one of his autographs. As always, a highlight of the show!

For SATA, it is a confirmation of its product philosophy if celebrities from the Custom Scene like Chip Foose and Mitch Lanzini count on top-notch quality made in Kornwestheim, Germany.

Mitch Lanzini
has become known to a broader public from his various appearances in the TV Show Overhaulin'. He has been enthusiastically using SATA spray equipment for many years. On the occasion of the Autorama Show in Detroit at the beginning of this year, he received an award for his Hot Rod "Stella d'Oro – Golden Star". This masterpiece owes its breathtaking finish to a SATAjet 3000 B RP spray gun. Mitch Lanzini really appreciates how easily paint can be applied with this spray gun allowing him to create impressive effect finishes at world-class level.

However, on its way to the Autorama, the Coupé was slightly damaged - which is normally the end. But in the nick of time, Mitch was able to restore the original sheen with a SATAgraph spray gun which was provided to him at short notice.
"Without the fast assistance from SATA, we definitely would not have made it - SATA is the Number One."
