For current models, the SAL or serial number is always 10 characters in the format XXX XXX XXXX. The SAL or serial number can contain digits and letters. For older models, this serial number is 5 or 6 characters long.

The hologram security label with 2 scratch pads ensures that it is an original SATA product. You will find it on the packaging for paint spray guns, respirator hoods and compressed air filters. You will find the SAL code in small directly above the barcode or directly on the product.
